An Ozone High Pollution Advisory is in effect for the Phoenix metro Friday and Saturday.
That means ozone pollution will reach unhealthy levels for kids, older adults, and anyone with a respiratory condition like asthma or COPD. If this includes you, limit your time outside in the afternoon hours to avoid difficulty breathing.
High pressure moves in this weekend, sending temperatures soaring into the mid to upper 90s here in the Valley.
Winds will pick up ahead of our next storm, and that’ll help clear the air by Sunday.
That same storm system will drop temperatures back into the mid 80s by Monday and Tuesday.
Right now, there is a slight chance for a shower in the Valley early next week, but northern Arizona has a better chance of seeing a few isolated showers as that system pushes through.
2026 Sky Harbor Official Rainfall to date: 0.32″ (-2.47″ from average)
