Police investigating drive-by shooting and crash in Sierra Vista | Local News

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KVOA) – Police in Sierra Vista say an investigation is underway following a reported drive-by shooting and crash Monday evening.

According to the Sierra Vista Police Department, officers initially responded to an active incident near Willcox Drive and 7th Street. A heavy law enforcement presence was reported at the scene.

In a later update issued at 6:58 p.m., police said the area has since been reopened to the public. However, officials confirmed they are continuing to investigate.

Authorities have not yet released details about possible injuries, suspects, or what led up to the incident.

Police say the investigation remains active, and additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
