No hazardous devices found after bomb threat at NAU forces evacuation


FLAGSTAFF, AZ — No hazardous devices were found after a bomb threat forced an evacuation at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff on Thursday, according to NAU police.

The area around Ardrey Auditorium was evacuated due to a “threat against the facility.”

Ardrey Auditorium is located near Knoles Drive and Riordan Road on the university’s campus.

The NAU police department completed a thorough sweep of the auditorium and deemed the building safe.

The auditorium has been reopened, and operations are proceeding as normal.

Further details regarding the incident were not immediately available.
