The Tri-Community Food Bank (TCFB) Celebrates Its Volunteer | Community

On March 25, TCFB held a luncheon at DeMarcos Restaurant in Oracle to thank the many volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to provide nutritious food for families in need in the Copper Corridor communities of Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth, Dudleyville, and Aravaipa.

The food bank volunteers are residents from SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke Ranch, Mammoth and San Manuel, members of the SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary and the Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke, the president of SaddleBrooke Community Outreach, and the manager and assistant manager of Bashas’ grocery store. Without these volunteers, the TCFB would not be able to remain open.

Additional volunteers are needed during summer months when many folks travel and snowbirds head north. If you are interested in volunteering, please call 520-487-2010 during business hours (Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) or send an email to Charles Post at [email protected]. Volunteers are scheduled for 3-hour shifts filling food boxes for clients, stocking shelves, loading walk-in refrigerators and freezers, and picking up orders from grocery stores, etc.

The Tri-Community Food Bank is an all-volunteer organization spending zero funds on administration costs. It is located at 108 W Redwood Drive in Mammoth. The mailing address is P.O. Box 38, Mammoth, AZ 85618.

The TCFB is an IRS 501© (3) non-profit corporation, and an Arizona Qualify Charitable Organization (20463).
