4 teens injured after several people fire dozens of shots at house party in Litchfield Park, video shows

Four teens were shot at a house party in Litchfield Park early Saturday, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

PHOENIX — Surveillance video obtained by 12News appears to show at least three people firing dozens of rounds in a Litchfield Park neighborhood near a house party, leaving multiple juveniles injured, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded around 1 a.m. to a home near Dysart Road and Maryland Avenue after reports of gunfire and screaming. Upon arrival, officers secured the scene before handing it off to firefighters to administer emergency first aid. Four teenagers were transported to area hospitals with gunshot wounds. Officials said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Surveillance footage from neighbor James Murray shows several people fleeing moments before the shots rang out. Bullet holes were found in homes, cars and across the neighborhood.

Leigh Ann Treguboff, who lives in the area, said she first realized something was wrong when kids began jumping into her backyard.

“There’s kids kind of running everywhere, cars everywhere. My husband goes up the road here, just a little bit. There’s a kid on the sidewalk,” Treguboff said.

After confirming there were no issues in their backyard, she said her husband went to the front of the house, where they encountered injured teens.

“My husband gives his wound pack to an officer. They rolled the kid over. He’s got a bullet in his back and his leg and his face is bleeding, just kind of helping the kids,” she said.

Another neighbor, Aiden Ferra, said the sound of screaming startled his family.

“We immediately go out and we just see bullets everywhere. There’s like casings all the way down the road. And they start marking them and everything,” Ferra said.

Residents said the incident has left them shaken.

“It’s very scary. Because, I mean, if you watch the video, like the kids just jumping in the air shooting the gun, and you can see the kid across the street firing. I mean, we have bullet holes way high up in the air, like, just no regard for anybody in the street. Like, I mean, there was kids everywhere,” Treguboff said.

No suspects have been identified or arrested, officials said. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active.
