December was a busy month for the Vista De La Montana United Methodist United Women in Faith. The group distributed filled Christmas stockings in December. Tucson Metropolitan Ministries (TMM) received 49 stockings for the women living at TMM and 54 Christmas bags filled with toys and food for the children living at TMM. Eagles Wings of Grace received 44 Christmas stockings. Gospel Rescue Mission (GRM) received 20 backpacks, 15 for men filled with food and toiletry items and five for women. GRM also received 29 Christmas stockings.
Our entire congregation participated in the stocking project. A total of 122 Christmas stockings were given to the three local Tucson charities.
