Urgent search for man exposed to rabid bobcat in Graham County | Local News

GRAHAM COUNTY, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Graham County Health Department is urgently seeking a man who came into contact with a rabid bobcat in Aravaipa Canyon’s Turkey Creek Area on April 13, 2025.

Officials are looking for two men who were driving a white jeep. One of these men had direct contact with the animal, which tested positive for rabies.

The health department stresses the importance of identifying the man to evaluate him for potential rabies treatment, as the disease is fatal if symptoms begin before treatment.

Anyone with information about these individuals is asked to contact the Graham County Health Department at 928-428-0110 or 928-965-8921 (after hours).
