NACO, Ariz. (KVOA) —U.S. Customs officers recently prevented a smuggling attempt at the Naco Port of Entry.
A K-9 unit discovered 26 drug packages containing 159 pounds of methamphetamine within a pickup truck during a secondary inspection.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs exceeds $160,000.
The driver, a 46-year-old Mexican citizen, was arrested.
Specific charges have not yet been disclosed.
