Tucson reporters look back at top stories of 2025

On this week’s edition of Arizona Public Media’s Press Room: Moderator Steve Goldstein brings together a panel of journalists including Tucson Sentinel reporter Jim Nintzel, Arizona Luminaria reporter John Washington, Arizona Daily Star columnist Tim Steller and Tucson Spotlight editor and publisher Caitlin Schmidt to discuss the top stories of 2025, including the political battle over Project Blue, ICE enforcement in the Tucson area, the death of longtime U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva and his daughter Adelita Grijalva’s win in the race for his Southern Arizona congressional seat.
