Tucson police hope sketch helps ID man found dead in July

Tucson police are hoping that a black and white sketch will lead to the identification of a man whose body was found in late July.

Police have released few details except to say the man was located about 8 p.m. on July 30 in a large desert lot southwest of South Park Avenue and East Irvington Road. More specifically, he was found near a block wall just east of a large apartment complex in the 700 block of East Irvington Road, police said.

The man was wearing a floral shirt, black shorts and white sneakers, police said.

In the sketch, the man has a short beard and mustache, and bushy eyebrows.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 88-CRIME, the anonymous tips line.
