The holiday season is one of the most exciting times of the year, with many people gathering with friends and family and decorating for upcoming celebrations. With all the merriment that’s sure to ensue, it’s also important to be considerate of your neighbors, and take note of your Association’s rules and guidelines governed under both Rules & Regulations and Architecture and Landscape.
For a full and complete list of all governing rules, you can go to the website at SBHOA2.org/group/pages/governing-documents.
Included below are just a few key takeaways to look up that are particularly pertinent to keep the magic in the air and have a peaceful holiday season…
Decorate ThoughtfullyDecking the halls with seasonal ornaments is a great way to bring the holiday spirit home. Many love to spread the joy by decorating the outside of their homes and front yards as well, but before you scurry up that ladder to hang the decorative lights along the side of your roof, take a quick peek at the Association rules to read the guidelines for outdoor decorations including when those can go up (Saturday, November 23)—and when to take them down (Wednesday, January 8). And please be sure any decorations you put up don’t obstruct driver’s views, encroach into common areas or create safety hazards.
Respect Noise LevelsWe hope you all have plenty of chances to eat, drink and be merry this holiday season. If you plan on hosting a large get-together or party, be mindful of noise levels, especially during quiet hours or late at night. Avoid excessive noise that may disturb your neighbors’ peace and quiet.
Plan for ParkingPlan ahead when it comes to parking. The holidays bring many people together, and that means extra cars will need to be parked. To make sure your guests are covered, check out the rules on visitor parking, including what kind of parking passes they may need. Street parking and extended RV parking will be allowed this holiday season for two-week periods from Saturday, November 23 to Sunday, December 8 (for Thanksgiving) and again from Saturday, December 21 to Sunday, January 5 (for Christmas). If you’re unsure at all, check with the SaddleBrooke HOA-2 Administration Office located at 38735 S. Mountain View Boulevard, or by Phone at (520) 818-1000 for additional clarification.
We hope you have a happy, peaceful holiday season!
