Summer camps open in June; still time to donate to Arizona Daily Star Send a Kid to Camp

We send local kids to weeklong YMCA, Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts) and Girl Scout overnight camps, as well as overnight camping at Camp Tatiyee for school-age children with special needs.

Our goal is to raise $225,000 to send at least 500 kids to overnight camp. So far, we’ve received 683 donations totaling $159,918.66, or just over 70% of our goal.
