Prepare for lane restrictions on Dove Mountain Blvd in Marana | Local News

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is alerting drivers to prepare for alternating daytime lane restrictions on Dove Mountain Boulevard at Moore Road starting Monday, Sept. 29.

The lane restrictions, part of the ongoing Dove Mountain Boulevard project, are scheduled from Sept. 29 through Oct. 31 for traffic signal installation.

ADOT stated that lane restrictions will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this time, north and southbound Dove Mountain Boulevard will be reduced to one lane at Moore Road. Additionally, left-turn lanes will be restricted as needed, but left turns will still be allowed.

Flaggers will be present to direct traffic, with only one direction affected at a time. A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will also be enforced.

ADOT advises drivers to plan for delays, proceed with caution, slow down, and be mindful of construction personnel and equipment.
