MILAN, Italy (KVOA) – With just 52 days until the 2026 Winter Olympics kick off, excitement is building as organizers announce a major performer for the opening ceremonies.

Mariah Carey, the 56-year-old singer famous for “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” is confirmed to perform on February 6 at Milan’s San Siro Soccer Stadium.

Organizers said that Carey embodies the emotional build-up to the games, emphasizing that music serves as a universal language that captures the ceremony’s theme of harmony. 

The opening ceremony will take place on February 6, and viewers can watch it live on News 4 Tucson, along with all the Winter Olympic events.
