Man dies days after being struck crossing Tucson street



A 63-year-old man has died days after he was struck by a pickup truck while crossing the street in midtown, Tucson police say.

About 8 p.m. Sept. 28, John Alan Bryan was struck while crossing near East Broadway and North Swan Road, police said in a news release.

Police say Bryan was not in a crosswalk when her tried to cross Swan and was struck by a black 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Police were notified Saturday that Bryan had died, the release said.

The unidentified 51-year-old driver of the truck was not injured.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no charges or citations have been issued, police said.
