Man, 67, killed in two-car crash Thursday in Tucson

A 67-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night at the intersection of East Fort Lowell Road and North Columbus Boulevard, police say.

The Tucson Police Department gave the following account in a news release:

A green 2014 Subaru Forester and a red 1999 Honda CR-V collided shortly before 7 p.m. Nov. 20 at the intersection.

First-responders pronounced the driver of the Forester, Jonas Ramanavicius, dead at the scene.

The other driver, a woman whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Traffic detectives determined the Forester was headed east on Fort Lowell when the CR-V, going west on Fort Lowell, attempted to make a left  turn onto southbound Columbus and collided with the Forester.
