STORMTRACKER 4 FORECAST – High pressure will dominate the region through the weekend, keeping skies mostly sunny with highs near 100°F. Moisture remains limited, but there is a 10 to 20 percent chance of isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms in Santa Cruz and Cochise counties both Saturday and Sunday.

By Labor Day, a slight uptick in moisture will bring a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and storms area-wide, and temperatures will cool into the 90s. Overall, expect a hot and mostly dry holiday weekend, with a better chance of rain to mark the unofficial end of summer
