Joann closing two locations in Southern Arizona

Joann announced it’s closing 500 stores across the country including one on the Eastside of Tucson and another in Green Valley.

The fabric and craft store said the decision was part of their ongoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy process and an effort to maximize the value of the business.

Locations closing:

• Tucson’s Eastside — Broadway and Kolb
• Green Valley — I-19 Frontage Road
