Hittin’ the Trails 4 You: Vault Mine Loop | Community

TUCSON – The next stop on our hiking list is Madera Canyon’s Vault Mine Loop.

This spot is a 6.2 mile moderately trafficked loop located near Green Valley.

This trail features beautiful scenery, a variety of wildlife, and is known for bird watching!

If you’re looking for a workout, this trail has an elevation gain of over 2000 feet. The trek may be rugged and steep at times which is why this trail is rated moderate! It’s not the trail for beginners. 

Added bonus? Dogs are welcome on this trail. Just make sure they are kept on a leash.
