TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Friday night a fatal car crash occurred near Davis Monthan.
A 23-year-old woman died. Tucson Police say the crash happened Friday night on East 29th and Swan near the base.
According to TPD, the 23-year-old was speeding and lost control before running into a streetlight.
While the driver died, police say a passenger in the car survived with minor injuries.
According to police, wet roads and speeding likely caused the crash.
