TUCSON, Ariz. – The Agave Heritage Festival is set to return to Tucson from April 10 to 13. Celebrating its 17th year, the festival highlights the city’s rich connection to agave, with over 100 varieties found in the Tucson basin. In 2022, Tucson was officially designated as the City of Century Plants, recognizing this heritage.
The four-day event offers a diverse range of programs. Attendees can enjoy tasting events, educational presentations by renowned agave experts, and heritage culinary experiences. The festival aims to deepen the understanding of the long-standing relationship between people and agave’s ecology.
