Coming up soon is the SaddleBrooke Quilt Show! The show will be held in the Mountain View Ballroom on March 21 from 10 am to 3 pm, and the show contains over 100 quilts from your talented friends and neighbors showing off their artistic skills using fabric.
The quilts vary widely with some being more traditional and others with a more modern twist. Whatever your style is, there will be a quilt on display to inspire and amaze you.
More than just an exhibition of quilts, the show includes a boutique where you can purchase a variety of handmade treasures, placemats, cell phone holders, wall hangings, patterns, books, and even fabric. There will be quilt demonstrations from Tami Graeber on confetti quilt binding, Mary Sara Fields will discuss how to maintain a variety of sewing machines, and Pam Clarke will demonstrate paper piecing.
The talents of two inspirational quilters will be showcased. Club members selected Athena Taylor and Carol Zupancic to represent the diversity and inspiration of what can be accomplished with a little fabric, thread, and creativity. Be sure to see the fabulous quilts created by these two very accomplished quilters.
The show is also the culmination of the raffle ticket entries. One lucky winner will be drawn for the beautiful Sonoran Sunset quilt that was created by 14 members of the Quilt Club – Martha Baker, Doreen Diaz, Debbie Dorman, Loretta Edgerton, Paula Fulton, Tami Graeber, Barbara Leesley, Pat Morris, Sherri Nockels, Stephanie Nordlin, Kelly Rospond, Barbara Turner, and Marcia Webster. Once the top was prepared, it went on to Athena Taylor to make it come to life with custom quilting.
There will also be 3 Dine Around prize winners. The Dine Around Packages are valued at up to $600 each and include gift certificates from 25 local restaurants ranging from $20 – $100 each. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, don’t worry, they will be available for purchase at the show. You don’t need to be present to win.
Proceeds from the raffle go to support a variety of charities with quilts and other handmade items. In 2025, The SaddleBrooke Quilters donated over 150 quilts to SaddleBrooke Quilts of Valor veterans, Fisher House (affiliated with the Veteran’s Hospital in Tuscan), Ronald McDonald House, Youth on Their Own, and the Arizona Foundation for Cancer
Don’t miss this opportunity to be amazed by the talents of our local quilters and support these worthwhile charities on March 21, 2026.
