Car crash in Sahuarita sends one person to hospital | Top Stories

SAHUARITA, Ariz. (KVOA) Santa Rita Fire District crews responded to a car crash Sunday night around 9:15 p.m. in the area of Rancho Caliente and Rancho Sahuarita Blvd.

According to the Santa Rita Fire District, when firefighters and paramedics got on scene, they found a two-vehicle collision had occurred at that intersection. First responders say it appeared to be a T-bone type collision with heavy damage.

Paramedics treated two people, one in each car. One person sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

At this time, traffic is restricted to one lane.

The Sahuarita Police Department responded to the scene and is investigating the cause of the crash.
