Capture Arizona: Enter wildlife photo contest by August 8 deadline | Arizona News

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Arizona Game and Fish Department has announced the opening of its 19th annual wildlife photo contest, inviting photographers to submit their best shots of Arizona wildlife.

Submissions are being accepted now through 5 p.m. on August 8, 2025.

One best-in-show winner and 11 first-place winners will be featured in the 2026 calendar, published as the November-December 2025 issue of Arizona Wildlife Views. The best-in-show photo will grace the cover.

Photographers can submit up to three images via an online form, in partnership with Arizona Highways. All entries must feature wildlife native to Arizona and taken within the state.
