Beads of Courage Receives Donations | Community

On January 14, 2026, two members of MPLNiners, EJ Snearly and Sue Wilson from SaddleBrooke presented a check to their chosen charity “Beads of Courage” at their “Christmas Around the World” event in December. Beads of Courage is a non-profit organization and since 2005 has over 300 collaborative partnerships. While we were there a tour of the facility was conducted by Jean Gribbons founder and Sarena Rivers director. This is a unique program that uses the art form of glass beads to honor the courage of infants, children, youth, and their families coping with serious illnesses and treatment experiences to start the participant receiving their first name in beads.

Their story unfolds as they continue to add beads to the collection. The beads collected represents a story of strength and courage. The programs are possible through the generous support of our donors.

Be part of the “Beads of Courage” and help us give more children a chance to RECORD, TELL, and OWN their stories of courage. Learn more at (www.BeadsofCourage.org)
