TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – A variety of events are set to entertain Southern Arizona residents this weekend. Whether you’re interested in home improvement, art, or supporting local vendors, there’s something for everyone.
The Southern Arizona Home Show will take place at the Tucson Convention Center from Friday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Homeowners can explore displays, events, and demonstrations, aiming to inspire and assist with home projects. Kevin O’Connor, host of the PBS series “This Old House,” will offer renovation tips on Friday and Saturday. Admission is $8 for adults, while children 12 and under can attend for free.
Art enthusiasts can visit Sculpture Tucson’s Annual Sculpture Festival Show & Sale at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park. This free event is the largest outdoor sculpture festival in Arizona, featuring over 60 sculptors and a diverse range of 3D artwork, from tabletop pieces to monumental installations.
The Made in Tucson Market returns for the Spring Fest on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Historic Fourth Avenue. Attendees can explore over 250 vendors and more than a dozen food trucks. The event, organized by the Historic Fourth Avenue Coalition, reinvests funds back into the community through murals and improvement grants for local businesses.
With these events lined up, residents have a weekend full of activities to enjoy.
