CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (KVOA) – One person is dead and five people are injured following a shooting happening overnight in Casa Grande.
On February 8, 2025, at approximately 1:11 a.m., Casa Grande Police Department Officers responded to the 500 block of West 13th Place for a shooting call.
Upon arriving to the scene, officers discovered five gunshot victims. One victim is 20-years-old, one is 17-years-old, and one is 19-years-old.
The five victims were flown to Valley area hospitals for trauma care. Their conditions currently vary from stable to unknown.
Officers also discovered one 19-year-old male deceased from an apparent gunshot. The deceased male was identified as Phoenix resident Syncere Ellington.
According to police, there are no outstanding suspects or threats to the community. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
