FORECAST: Cooler air moving in!

PHOENIX — Showers and thunderstorms moved through Arizona on Wednesday and there’s still a chance of a few more in eastern and northern parts of the state.

Here in the Valley, our forecast is drying out as cooler air settles in.

Temperatures will drop into the low to mid 80s on Thursday and Friday as we wrap up the week.

High pressure will build in again over the weekend and next week too, pushing Valley highs back up into the low 90s right before Halloween.

On average, Phoenix has its last 90-degree day of the year around October 30th, but we have seen 90s before all the way through the middle of November.
