PHOENIX — The fall storm that moved through the state this weekend that brought a wintry mix to northern Arizona and scattered showers to the Valley will move out by mid-morning Monday.
Across the high country, snow levels will drop to 5,500 feet Sunday morning through Monday morning. Flagstaff could pick up one to two inches of snow by early Monday morning with two to six inches of snow in the white mountains for areas like Greer, Pinetop-Lakeside and Show Low.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place through 5 a.m. Monday for the White Mountains.
Chilly mornings are expect in the Valley, with overnight temperatures dropping into the upper 40s!
Cooler air, breezy winds and sunshine return for Monday afternoon with forecast highs in the mid 70s.
We’ll dry back out in time for Election Day, but another storm system will impact our state toward the middle of next week.
Stay tuned for updates on that one as we get closer.
