China strikes back with tariffs on U.S. goods

China announced new tariffs targeting U.S. coal and other products, and launching an anti-trust investigation into Google. It’s not clear how much consumers will feel these new tariffs from China, but this was all part of a tariff roller coaster in Washington. After speaking to the leaders of Mexico and Canada, President Donald Trump backed away from new tariffs in North America.
