Arizona weather forecast: Cooler Christmas temperatures

PHOENIX – Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah!

The National Weather Service says with a cold front having swept through the region, temperatures on December 25 will be a little cooler compared to what we’ve seen through much of the month so far.

• 69° – Phoenix
• 71° – Yuma, El Centro

Up in the high country, NWS says to plan on cooler, near average temperatures:

• 44° – Flagstaff, Alpine
• 52° – Prescott
• 51° – Show Low, Page, Tuba City
• 58° – Camp Verde
• 55° – Sedona
• 45° – Williams, Window Rock
• 54° – Payson

At higher elevations, there’s still about a 30% chance of a white Christmas.

Thursday and Friday will continue to be cooler, with a warm-up expected by the weekend.
