Stabbing in south Phoenix leaves 1 injured, suspect still outstanding

PHOENIX — A woman was stabbed in south Phoenix on Saturday evening, police said. The suspect is outstanding.

Phoenix police officers were called to an area near 75th Avenue and Broadway Road on Saturday evening for a stabbing. When officers got to the area. they found a woman with a stab wound. Police said the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect left the scene before officers arrived. No suspect description was given by police.

Police did not give any further information.
