Shooting victim thrown from car in Phoenix crash



The Phoenix Police Department said the incident happened Thursday afternoon near 43rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.

PHOENIX — A man is in critical condition after a shooting and crash in west Phoenix, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Police Department said the incident happened on Thursday around 3 p.m. near 43rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.

Police said first responders were called to the scene after a vehicle in the area crashed. They arrived and found the man had been thrown from the car. He had also been shot.

The man’s name has not been released by police.

Police said no suspects have been identified.
