A man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the area of 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
PHOENIX — A man is in the hospital after being shot early Sunday morning.
At around 12:38 a.m., Phoenix Police Department officers responded to the area of 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road for shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the press release.
The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported the man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Officers secured the area and there were no other injuries.
Officers circulated the area in an attempt to locate the suspects, but they were unsuccessful, the press release says. Detectives responded and processed the scene.
