Mesa robber who fled Circle K store on bicycle sentenced to nearly a decade in prison

MESA, Ariz. — A man who robbed a Circle K store in east Mesa has been sentenced to 9.5 years in prison, officials say. 

Cameron Davis, 34, was recently sentenced in court after pleading guilty to a charge of armed robbery for an incident reported at the Circle K near Crismon and Broadway roads in April 2025, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The store’s surveillance system captured the robber adjusting a green bandana over his face before going behind the store’s counter and stealing merchandise. When a clerk attempted to intervene, the robber threatened the employee with a knife.

The robber then fled the store on a bicycle. MCAO said the victim learned a couple of days later the robber’s name and that the robber had reportedly been bragging about the robbery.

In June 2025, detectives located Davis and found him with a green bandana and a folding knife.
