Man killed, woman hurt in north Phoenix double shooting

North Phoenix double shooting leaves 1 dead

A man died and a woman was seriously hurt in a shooting late Wednesday night at an apartment complex near 7th Street and Bell Road. FOX 10’s Dominique Newland reports.

PHOENIX – A double shooting late Wednesday night at a north Phoenix apartment complex left one person dead.

The shooting happened just after 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 29 near 7th Street and Bell Road.

What we know:

Phoenix Police say officers responded to the scene and found a man and a woman who had been shot.

Both victims were taken to a hospital where the man died. The woman is expected to survive.

What we don’t know:

The man was not identified. Police did not release any details on what led up to the shooting.
