Man injured in Phoenix shooting near 7th and Missouri avenues

PHOENIX — A man was critically injured in a shooting Saturday in Phoenix, according to officials with the city’s police department. 

Officers with the department responded to the shooting near 7th and Missouri avenues just after 2 p.m. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, who was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition, officials said. Officers said the shooting happened in the roadway. 

Officers said they contacted a woman at the scene who was involved in the shooting.
