Man arrested for alleged Tesla vandalism in Gilbert

GILBERT, Ariz. — A man who allegedly vandalized a Tesla in Gilbert has been arrested, the city’s police department said.

Shant Janesian reported that his Tesla was parked at the shopping mall at SanTan Village on March 13 when an unknown man allegedly damaged the vehicle. 

Police investigated, including looking at video from the Tesla and the surrounding area, and identified the alleged suspect as 62-year-old David Moller of Chandler, Arizona.

Moller was arrested on March 21 and is facing a criminal damage charge.
