PHOENIX — A person has been detained for questioning in the search for Nancy Guthrie, according to officials with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
The subject was detained during a traffic stop south of Tucson, Pima County officials said.
Nancy Guthrie has been missing since Feb. 1. Law enforcement officials with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said she was taken from her home “against her will.”
12News has confirmed that law enforcement officers are searching a property in Rio Rico related to the case, according to Pima County officials. The operation is expected to last several hours, officials said.
The detainment comes after the FBI released several images and videos of a person who was possibly involved in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
In a video released by the FBI, a masked, armed person is seen walking to the front door of Nancy Guthrie’s home and then attempting to disable the camera.

Neighbors in the area tell 12News that law enforcement officials asked them to search their entire property for evidence on Tuesday, including items that may have been placed on their property.
Investigators could be seen moving from home to home in the area, knocking on doors and walking through yards.
