QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — In just two weeks, the Queen Creek Police Department arrested 24 juveniles. Now, they are asking for parents’ help.

The department said in a Facebook post that between March 7 and 22, which is when spring break occurred in the area, they received 51 juvenile disturbance calls for service. They also arrested 24 juveniles.

“We can’t police our way out of this,” the QCPD said in the post. “Parents and guardians must play a key role in setting expectations and holding their kids accountable.”

Police reminded residents that they are encouraged to call QCPD’s non-emergency line to report safety concerns, illegal activity, suspicious behavior, etc.

“Remember, posting online is NOT reporting the incident to the police,” police wrote.

The incidents ranged from curfew violations and reckless e-bike use to ongoing disruptions and unlawful flight, police said.

The town curfew for teens, without a parent or guardian, is:

– 15 and under: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

– Ages 16 to 17: 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Exceptions to this rule include:

-When a teen is with a parent or guardian

– If the teen is permitted to travel

– School, religious or recreation activities
