Glendale police responded to the call for service early Sunday morning and found a man with a gunshot wound.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man is dead after a shooting in Glendale on Sunday morning, the city’s police department said.

Glendale police officers responded to a call for service near 59th Avenue and Greenway Road around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. When they got to the area, they found a man who had a gunshot wound. Police said the wound was from someone who was also living in the household.

Police said they later learned the suspect and the man who was shot were related. Police said the man who was shot and later died was the suspect’s father.
