Police say a man was walking home from the gym near his house when the suspect confronted him for his gym bag. The suspect shot the man once in the stomach.
GLENDALE, Ariz — Glendale police are searching for a suspect in a shooting on Saturday evening.
Police received a call for a shooting near Marlette and 47th avenues in Glendale around 8 p.m. on Saturday. Police said a man who was walking home from a gym near his house was confronted by a suspect. The suspect tried to take the man’s gym bag, police said.
The man was shot once in the stomach and is in surgery in stable condition as of Saturday evening.
No suspect description was given.
