Crash partially closes Loop 101 at Grand Avenue

PEORIA, Ariz. – A freeway in the West Valley is partially closed on Friday morning due to a crash.

What we know:

The northbound lanes of the Loop 101 Agua Fria are closed at Grand Avenue, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

It’s unknown when the lanes will reopen. The southbound lanes aren’t affected by the crash.

What we don’t know:

The cause of the crash is unknown. The Arizona Department of Public Safety says there are injuries, but the severity of them is unknown.
