The shooting happened in a neighborhood southwest of 99th Avenue and Bell Road, according to early reports.
SUN CITY, Ariz. — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Sun City that left two people dead Thursday evening
Officials confirmed that deputies were called at about 11 p.m. to a neighborhood near 99th Avenue and Bell Road, where they found a woman deceased and a man with serious injuries. The wounded man was taken to a hospital.
Officials later identified the woman as 92-year-old Mickey Crater.
MCSO said a third person was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
MCSO said the shooting appears to have been a “murder-suicide” type of incident.
