Art enthusiasts and wine lovers are set to gather in downtown Carefree for the highly anticipated 32nd Annual Winter Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival. Running from Jan. 17 to 19, the festival is a vibrant celebration of fine art, culinary delights, and live entertainment, promising an experience that engages all the senses. Artist Gabriele Bitter wants people to know that women with alopecia, a thinning of the hair, are beautiful, empowered, talented, and capable. As a featured artist during The Finer Arts Gallery’s Jan. 17 “Art Affaire,” she will exhibit her recent work that is part of her “Women Series.” The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the gallery, which is located inside the historic Treehouse building, 6137 E. The Fountain Hills Youth Theater invites audiences of all ages to Sherwood Forest for a side-splitting journey with their latest production, “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood.” This “Monty Python-esque” comedy runs from Jan. 17-26, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. at Fountain Hills Theater, located at 11445 N.
