Phoenix lawmaker, daughter tried to smuggle box cutter into school




One week after one student stabbed and killed another at Maryvale High School in Phoenix, a mother-daughter tandem of local public officials attempted to smuggle a box cutter into the school as a stunt, according to a press release from the Phoenix Union High School District.
