Desert Ridge Marketplace debuts holiday festivities and The Ember Lounge | Things To Do

The holidays are here and Desert Ridge Marketplace is the place to be in North Phoenix to shop, stroll and enjoy the spirit of this festive season.

New Holiday Décor

This season, Desert Ridge Marketplace reveals the all-new custom décor that transforms the property into a desert wonderland – complete with eight foot wreaths, glowing meridians, and snowflakes displayed throughout the center. Of course, there’s also a 40-foot tree in an elegant and sophisticated color scheme that complements the property’s desert tones.

Twelve Days of Snowfall

Experience 12 days of magical snowfall inside The District at Desert Ridge Marketplace from Dec. 13 through Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. On Christmas Eve, it will snow every hour from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. This is a timeless tradition that has been enjoyed by the community for over a decade.

Sip & Stroll

The Sip & Stroll program allows customers 21 and older to enjoy alcoholic beverages from participating bars and restaurants while strolling the property. Enjoy a cocktail from one of the many participating restaurants and experience all of the new holiday décor, snowfall, and more.

The Ember Lounge at The District Dome

New this season, Desert Ridge Marketplace launches a brand-new attraction called The Ember Lounge. This striking 50-foot spherical dome is designed to bring unique and immersive seasonal pop-up activations to the property’s courtyard.

Upon entering The Ember Lounge, guests aged 21 and over will be transported into a captivating night under the stars with a cozy dining atmosphere, whimsical craft cocktails, chef-driven menu offerings, and a state-of-the-art projection show. The 90-minute show takes guests through a journey beginning with a glowing Arizona sunset over the Grand Canyon, moving through a snowy evergreen forest, passing the Aurora Borealis, closing with starry skies, galaxies and beyond.

Designed to be the ultimate holiday experience, The Ember Lounge offers an intimate and moody atmosphere filled with real foliage and charming dining nooks. Guests will have the opportunity to choose between the Highland, Grove, Wildwood or Monarch nooks when making their reservation. Upon arrival, guests will be able to select from specially curated food and beverage offerings, created exclusively by Copper Blues. Signature cocktails add to the immersive experience and artisanal menu was created to capture the whimsical spirit of The Ember Lounge. The food and beverage concepts were created to tie into the atmosphere and projection show for an all-encompassing experience.

“This holiday season, we wanted to bring an elevated activation to Desert Ridge Marketplace,” said Jenny Cushing, vice president of leasing at Desert Ridge Marketplace. “Inspired by a European winter wonderland, the idea behind The Ember Lounge is for guests to immerse themselves in an exclusive and one-of-a-kind dining experience. The concept has been years in the making and we are very excited to share this unforgettable holiday event with our guests.”

The Ember Lounge is a limited-time experience that guests can enjoy through December 31. The Ember Lounge is open Thursdays to Sundays from 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Reservations require a $30 cover charge and can be made online at districtdome.com. Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first serve basis.
