Suspected California carjacker arrested in Buckeye

BUCKEYE, Ariz. – A man accused of being involved in a carjacking in California was arrested by police in Buckeye.

Buckeye Police say officers were conducting a stolen vehicle investigation on Dec. 23 near Miller Road and Pima Street.

After locating the vehicle in question, the driver was arrested.

“During the investigation, officers learned the driver is a suspect in a recent carjacking in California that resulted in the victim being hospitalized,” police said.

The suspect was not identified.
