A shooting in a South Carolina beach town resulted in at least 11 people being taken to hospitals.

Authorities said the incident occurred Sunday night. The Associated Press reported that video from the scene showed dozens of police cars and ambulances rushing in and out of the area.

What we know:

The shooting happened around a boat dock near the Intracoastal Waterway at 9:30 p.m. Sunday in Little River, South Carolina, which is 20 miles northeast of Myrtle Beach, authorities told the Associated Press.

What we don’t know:

Horry County Police did not provide information on the conditions of anyone hurt or share details of how they may have been injured in the shooting. 

Police also did not release details on possible suspects or a motive for the shooting, telling the AP that it was an isolated incident, adding that there is no risk to the community. 

North Myrtle Beach spokesperson Lauren Jessie told the AP that a North Myrtle Beach police officer responding to the shooting accidentally shot himself in the leg at a marina about 3 miles away and is in the hospital in stable condition.
