String of burglaries reported in Peoria
Police are investigating a string of burglaries that happened between 75th and 91st Avenues, from Thunderbird Road to Olive Avenue. No suspects are in custody.
PEORIA, Ariz. – Police are investigating a string of burglaries and robberies at massage parlors in Peoria.
Peoria Police say the crimes happened overnight from 11 p.m. on Wednesday to after 3 a.m. on Sept. 5, between 75th and 91st Avenues, from Thunderbird Road to Olive Avenue.
No one was hurt and investigators believed a single suspect committed the crimes.
“We can say all of these are tied together, so our detectives are working at all the scenes fluently and trying to collect much information as they can,” Officer Kris Babros said. “We have forensic techs that are coming out that are gonna collect fingerprints, DNA and all of that.”
Two of the incidents are considered to be robberies because employees were inside at the time of the crime. The other two incidents were burglaries because no one was inside.
No arrests have been made and there is no description of the suspect.
